Leonid Yakubovich is a Soviet and Russian television host, actor, screenwriter, writer and producer. In addition, he was recognized as a national artist of Russia in 2002. Leonid is a member of the public council of the Russian Jewish Congress. Also, he is well known as the longtime host of the TV game "Field of Dreams." [2]

Leonid Yakubovich was born on the 31^th of July 1945 in Moscow.

Father was an engineer Arkady Solomonovich Yakubovich (1913-1983), Head of Design Bureau; mother was a gynecologist Rimma Semyonovna Yakubovich (nee Schenker; 1919-2005). He has expelled from school. He worked at an aircraft factory as an operator and electrician. Leonid has received secondary education in night school. He had entered the Moscow Institute of Electronic Engineering, where he played later at the Theatre Student thumbnails. Then he went to study at the Moscow Civil Engineering Institute.
