Abstract: article considers the procedure of a land surveying works. Purchase and sale, inheritance, privatization, donation, association, division all these processes are impracticable without land surveying which is carried out according to state legislation of the Russian Federation. It should be noted that land management works have to be followed by carrying out a land surveying research.

The land surveying represents a complex of the engineering and the geodetic works to establish, restore and fix the borders of the land use, to determine the location of the borders and the area of a site, and also legal registration of the given material [1].

The land surveying is carried out with the purpose to solve land disputes or to issue any type of the land relations. It is possible to carry out the procedure of a land surveying is possible at any time, but there are cases which demand existence of the cadastral passport on the earth, which can`t be received without carrying out procedure of a land surveying [2].

The land surveying includes:

- preparattion work to collect and study of deeds of title to plots of land, geodetic, cartographical and other initial documents;

- field inspection and assessment of the points condition of the state geodetic network (SGN) and basic boundary network (BBN) - the basic boundary signs (BBS);

- field inspection of the plot borders with an assessment of the boundary signs condition;

- drawing up the engineering design (task) land surveying;

- the notification of the owners and users of the land plots to make the boundary works;

- coordination and fixing on the district boundary signs the borders of the land plot with the owners and users of the land plots;

- delivery of BBN points to provide safety;

- position determination of the points of BBN and boundary signs

- determination of the land plot size;

- rough drawing of the land plot size;

- control and acceptance of the land surveying works results;

- state control of the establishment and safety of the boundary signs;

- establishment of the boundary business;

- delivery papers to an archive [3].

The documents on a land surveying are submitted on the state cadastral registration and also for modification of the State Immovable Property Cadastre and made out in the form of the boundary plan [4].

The boundary plan consists of the graphic and text parts. In the graphic part of the boundary plan data of the cadastral plan of the respective territory or a cadastral extract on the corresponding land plot are reproduced, as well as the location of the borders of the formed land plot either the land plots, or specified borders of the land plots. The access to the formed land plots (pass from the public land plots), including the appurtenant easement run with land are also determined.

In the text part of the boundary plan all the necessary papers to be in the State Immovable Property Cadastre data on the land plot or the land plots according to the standards and legal regulations in the sphere of the cadastral relations are specified [5].

Thus, procedure of a land surveying solves a number of problems. It allows the owner to confirm the right on the land plot according to the rules and regulations which are specified in the documents, to receive the cadastral passport on the land plot with the established borders and to perform further operations.
