The methods of teaching of languages including English have been changed over the centuries. The sphere of language is dynamic that means there is nothing fixed comparably with other fields. The approaches of teaching languages throughout the twentieth century underwent numerous changes and innovations. Almost every year, there is something new in teaching field, it can be a new approach or methodology that soon comes into practice. Here I am going to focus your attention on Information technologies in English language teaching.

Information and communication technologies are a powerful learning tool, control and management of the educational process. It is the most important parameter of contemporary socio-cultural system. Online Resources are familiar and convenient means of exploring the culture of other countries and peoples, communication, information, inexhaustible source of educational process. That is why, based on a systematic approach to reforming the methods of learning a foreign language using the new information technologies based on the concept of information and learning environment, which is seen in close connection with the system of developmental education.[1]

Information learning environment tasks for learning a foreign language are:

- Creating conditions for the development of creative writing, and verbal skills;

- Integration of various forms and strategies for the development of independent cognitive learning activities in the process of individual and group work of students;

- Increasing motivation saturation of the educational process

- Organization of informative communication activities with native speakers and members of the community network who learn a foreign language;

- Formation on the basis of linguistic knowledge of modern information culture, allowing working in the computer and telecommunication environment.[1]

Information technology benefits both traditional education institutions and online educational models in fundamental ways. For example, multimedia presentations, knowledge-management software, videoconferencing, cloud computing and collaborative document editing are notable information technology services benefiting education.[2]

Information technology provides teachers an endless choice of multimedia, software, applications and devices with which to create more exciting, interactive lessons. The traditional English lecture-based lesson, while effective to a point, does not stimulate every type of learner. By adding a dimension to their lessons, English teachers have the opportunity to engage more students and lead a more involved, energetic class. Digital ink is a major advance in information technology making it easier for faculty and students to complete tasks. Teachers can enter grades and assignment updates on-line, rather than in a paper grade-book. Libraries with a digital database in place of a traditional card catalog make their resources available for students to search anywhere with an Internet connection. Staff members can find and send transcript information and other records quickly by accessing a digital filing system, saving time and paper. As modern devices like tablet computers, laptops and projectors develop more of a presence at the English lessons. It becomes more important for educators, students and parents to understand the role of information technology in studying English today. New technology is not only a subject in and of itself, but can also be applied to any subject, enhancing the learning experience and equipping students to join an increasingly global workforce. Information and communication technology opens the doors for better distance learning programs, allowing those in disadvantaged areas to have access to the same education as the privileged. Because this technology makes information accessible from nearly any location with a mobile device or laptop, courses can be more flexible, meaning those with full schedules who may not have the time or opportunity to further their education can choose to enroll in courses on-line and complete assignments on their own time [2].

When information technologies have so many benefits, as mentioned above, it can motivate students better than just reading books and doing exercises. The laptops and tablets are friends of children of today's generation. Approximately, 3 years old children can use tablets, they watch the cartoons and play with tablet, if so why not to use it in the correct direction. For instance, to show children teaching English cartoons, so they can learn to count; or to download games that teach them colors or objects. Below we want to recommend you such channel on youtube as "PinkFong". You can find it here

 https://www.youtube.com/user/SmartBooksMedia

The channel PinkFong provides a lot of diverse materials to study English. Here little children can learn to count, the alphabet, the name of animals and so on. The benefits of using such teaching channels are that the pupils can learn it online or download it and use it offline, also they can learn it by themselves without help of parents or teacher.

 The amount of educational games is likewise a lot. We have chosen one among them in order to introduce you. The name of game is "Fun English". You can easily download this game from here

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pumkin.fun&hl=ru

The "Fun English" is English learning games for kids. The application includes educational activities to teach infants how to read, speak and spell in English. The game's course is divided into lessons that teach core vocabulary and present words in several contexts to assist learning and retention. The advantages of game are:

Ø The using of male and female voices

Ø The using of American and English accents

Ø The using of diverse tones and expressions and etc.

Schoolchildren can be motivated with using of particular tools and websites too. For example, teacher can use projector in order to make their lesson more colorful and intensive; pupils can be participated in different online competitions, webinars and etc.

From my point of view, students cannot imagine their education without information technologies. They utilize IT every day, even every hour and the purposes are very different,  like to get the new topical, actual information; to create new project; to write books and articles; to participate in webinars;  to do paper work or diploma and etc. In one word, education sphere is closely connected with information technologies, if earlier it was used only by teachers now the whole class uses it in order to get knowledge.

In conclusion, we want to say that IT is indivisible part of education in the 21st century. Technology can allow students to experience situations and circumstances that the students of previous time could only dream about. The information technology provides an even greater avenue for interaction between teacher and students. During the English lessons various videos, exercises, games, listening drills may be done. Information technology makes learning English available to a wider range of learners as well.
