The Earth is our home. It is where we live, breathe, eat, raise our children and etc. Across the world, all the people are facing a variety of new and challenging environmental problems every day. Some of them are small and only affect a few ecosystems, but others are drastically changing the landscape as we already know. A lot of various environmental issues, such as Pollution, Global Warming, Natural Resource Depletion, Waste Disposal, Deforestation, Public Health Issues, demand their solutions. There is a profession which can help to solve ecological problems. It is the profession of environmental engineering.

Who is the environmental engineer? The environmental engineer is a person, who tries to protect the limited resources of our planet. Since my childhood I have been worrying about our planet and ecology. My future speciality is Construction of unique buildings and structures. I think that uniqueness of future buildings and structures must consist not only of complexity and originality. They must be built with using environmental innovations. My major challenge is to apply new methods of solving environmental problems. Nowadays there are wonderful and stunning innovation projects.

For example, The Solaire, is a showcase for how new technologies and thoughtful design can work together to create an efficient, earth-friendly building that is comfortable to live in. The Solaire use 35 percent less energy than a conventional structure of similar size and purpose.

Another example is the Hearst Tower. It is not only the building with an amazing design. Hearst Tower is also significant in environmental terms. It was built using 85 per cent recycled steel, and it consumes 25 per cent less energy than an equivalent office building.

The World Green Roof Infrastructure Network is another very interesting project. Green building technology is the solution of tackling the impacts of climate change,which effects all of us.

Of course, these are not all the projects, which exist in the world. I want to create my unique environmental project. I think that my future profession will always help me to do our world better and cleaner. So, environmental engineering is my future and the future of our planet Earth.
